What we collect

When you run a scan, we collect the public handle you enter and the publicly available data returned by that platform's API — things like follower counts, bio text, and post activity. If you sign up for a free detailed report, subscribe to Pro, or purchase Business access, we collect your name and email address. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details ourselves. We use a cookie to enforce scan rate limits; this is not used for advertising or tracking across other sites.

How we use it

We use this data to generate your report, deliver it to you, process payments, prevent abuse of the free scan limit, and — if you've opted in — send occasional product updates. We never sell your data.

Who we share it with

We work with a small number of service providers to run Owniva: Stripe (payments), an email delivery provider (sending your reports), and Anthropic's Claude API (writing the plain-language explanations in your report from your real scan data). None of these providers are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Scan results are kept so repeat checks are faster and so Pro can track changes over time. You can delete your reports and your account at any time by contacting us or using the account dashboard.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to delete it, or opt out of product emails at any time by emailing contact@owniva.app.

Children's privacy

Owniva is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 16.

Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change. Continued use of Owniva after a change means you accept the update.
