What Owniva is
Owniva scans public social media profiles and reports on security exposure, authenticity, and content performance, using only publicly available data. It is built for account owners checking their own presence — not a discovery or surveillance tool for researching people without their knowledge.
Acceptable use
Free scans are for your own public account only. Business access allows scanning accounts other than your own, limited to 3 account scans per rolling 24 hours, for the 30-day period your purchase covers. You agree not to use Owniva to scrape, automate mass scanning, or attempt to circumvent these limits.
Payments
All payments are final. See our Billing Terms, Refund Policy, Cancellation Policy, and Subscription Policy for the full details on how charges, renewals, and cancellations work for each plan.
Accuracy
Scores and findings are generated from real, publicly available data at the time of scanning, using our own scoring logic. They are estimates intended to help you understand your public exposure — not a guarantee, and not professional security, legal, or financial advice.
Account termination
We may suspend or terminate access for abuse of the platform, including circumventing scan limits or using Owniva for surveillance or harassment.
Liability
Owniva is provided as-is. We aren't liable for decisions made based on a report, or for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
